I have the carbon, simply because the high was no longer available in my size. I love them.
I think sch3lp and jurgen recently switched from the high to the carbon. The carbon is definitely lighter and more responsive, unfortunately also more expensive.

emma, and why didn't you choose the ksj or the igor?

When I mentioned in a local shop here (Dessel) that I might consider to buy the carbons (because the high was out of stock in my size) the guy "ordered" for me a carbon in my size. I didn't have to buy them in fact, but I loved them when I tried them.
That time (February-March) there was no igor or ksj available yet, but in fact I don't think I would feel comfortable with the ksj because it has no cuff. The igor has a removable carbon cuff, but is even more expensive than the carbon and I don't think that I would ever skate without that cuff.
