The 2008 slalom season starts soon!

We're delighted to announce the 2008 World Slalom Series - a world wide freestyle slalom event schedule that links together and shares information about both major and minor events around the world, also enabling all skaters that take part to be included on the WSSA world ranking.

Check out http://worldslalomseries.com for information on the events schedule and rules, and please contact us at wsseries@gmail.com if you are organising an event that is not included in this ranking, as all events are welcome - no matter how local or small!

Please Note:
The World Slalom Series schedule has been made as a way to provide a central point for information for skaters. The events are not run by the WSSA, and the information on the schedule is changed as we receive updates from event organisers, so please check regularly for updates, and be aware that only the confirmed events are definately set!

I know! but remember some of them are small, and many of them are unconfirmed. its amazing how many events actually do happen around the globe...

I posted this in french on the really scary french forum, and they got really pissed becasue theres no IFSA ones on it, which is basically because they got pissed when IFSA was included in the global ranking, and so I asked for them to inform us of more events (ie, the IFSA ones).

I thing im going to die on that forum...

Hehehe, you should have a sort of french spokesperson then Smiley (this is not an application for the job by the way Smiley)

The IFSA competitions are listed on the IFSA website here.

France, Nice 2008 : 12th-13th July
Italy 2008
China 2008
Belgium, Bruxelles 2008
Barcelona 2008
Russia, Moscow 2008

This is about as accurate as they get at the time.
Italy was not confirmed last time I checked, but it is now.
By the way, do you know if UK has cancelled their event or if it still is "unconfirmed"?

haha!!!!!!
theres no UK IFSA event! there never was one and there will not be! I dont know why they ever thought that!

they insisted that we run one, but... who is going to bother? who has the time??

but also, IFSA were upset that we included their results in world ranking, so we cant include their events in the world series ( which is for world ranking) without the permission of the individual organisers.
