Since there wasn't any topic about our demo @ Zomer op Straat in Herent, I open it here.
Following people will be coming:
* Jurgen
* Nancy
* Vicky
* Sch3lp
* Emma
* Michael (although he thinks playing clarinet is more important than giving a slalom demo  Shocked)
* Isabelle

What are we going to do? I suggest giving skate/slalom initiation @ 14.30, 15.30 and 16.30 or something like that?
But how can we make clear that we are open to give an initiation?

The organisator should be taking care of that. I think I'm going to call him tomorrow.
I think he also has a schedule for the demo's, and we just do initiation in between.
This should be totally awesome, he might even take care of skate rental! Cheesy
God I SO hope the weather's going to be fine as well... *crosses his fingers*

By the way, I spoke to a couple today. They're starting a skate-club in Veltem, Herent. So there might be more possibilities for demo/initiation/workshops in the future.
If the club kicks off that is. Which it probably will, considering our masterful display Wink

That would be nice. If wanted: Michael and I are open to give some initiations lesson over there, since it's not that far.

Do they have an indoor practicing place? That would be great!

Here's the planning:

We meet at 13h00 in the street where it's all going to happen.
Every 30-45 minutes we do a demonstration of about 5-10 minutes.
In between we give initiations to anyone interested.

There will be music and we should have a large enough surface to place our cones.

In the case of bad weather we'll go anyway, because the activities will move to the sports hall, but it's not sure there's enough room for us (I'm thinking there's always room for us, we just put down less cones then Wink).

For the initiation I think it might be interesting to put down a 120 line as well, next to an 80s, and maybe a 50s as well if there's room (for demo purposes).

We'll meet at 12h30-13h00 in the Kerkstraat, Herent.

It lasts until 18h00.
There's no rain predicted for tomorrow, so let's hope it stays that way all day long.

Cu there !

Think we did not too bad Wink The surface was not ideal, but it was doable.
Here are my 5 pictures:

I think it was nice.
Surface could've been better, but I think we managed ourselves quite well...
And the weather was great !
