Naomi called me a loser, and with good reason, I forgot my id-card.
I had put it under the scanner to make a copy for it on wednesday, and forgot to take it out.
Due to lack of travelling documents, the airport of Schiphol refused to put me on a plane.
So, it's entirely my own damn fault.
I'm missing out on THE slalom event, of... well _ever_, and it sucks NOT being there this very instant.
I don't even care about the money for the plane ticket. This weekend, I was supposed to be meeting Sebastien Laffargue, Jeremy Lacivita, Olivier and Seppo, and the guys from Nottingham. And I'm missing out on having plain good fun with friends.
Gawd...
This will be the first, but also the last time, it will happen.

I can't believe this!!!! Sooooooooo terrible!
That Thomas beats you even on this kind of stuff is amazing.
I feel so sorry for you... you have been practicing so dedicated for this.... it hurts even me... Sooooooooooo bad... now we will not have even pictures and a report! I'm crying. Cry Cry Cry

(the very wise lesson from the mom: before leaving on a trip there are only 3 things you shouldn't forget: passport, tickets and bankcard... all the rest, but skates, is unimportant)

I know...
But my ID-card usually never leaves my wallet, that's why I assumed I had it with me.
Should've known better, assumption is the mother of all fuck ups.

(the very wise lesson from the mom: before leaving on a trip there are only 3 things you shouldn't forget: passport, tickets and bankcard... all the rest, but skates, is unimportant)
I just did one of those 3...

I left home with only an expired credit card... loser... I only found out at the end of a meal that I tried to pay for...

Very good trick that I should remember... most probably someone else paid for your meal, no?
So the travelling rules are changed to: you should not forget skates, passport, tickets, a valid credit card and an expired one!
